Well, summer is over, school is back in session, and that means that hockey is just around the corner. Seems like a long time since the second playoff game in Thrashers history, doesn’t it? Now that Thrashers news will start picking up again, look for this blog to be active and the opinions to get rolling.
In league news, the Dallas Stars are taking shots at the other major sports with a few hilarious billboards. The one below is referring to the NBA’s scandal of referees shaving points from games.
Other billboard slogans include “One game a week? Is the N in NFL for Nancy?” and “Maybe baseball should stop using the word sacrifice.” Pretty awesome if you ask me. Imagine the types of reactions you might get in Atlanta if the Thrashers put up a shot at the Braves or Falcons.
